tiny kitchen

July 10, 2017

How to make a tiny kitchen functional & stylish?  Add tile & a place to sit.

This kitchen is part of a studio apartment.  Normally, the same floor would continue into the kitchen, but these clever Parisian owners added graphic tile with a small pattern.  The change in the floor helps distinguish the kitchen.

July 7, 2017

Look at this face!  I love a big furry lazy dog.  I saw this cutie while walking around the Marina.  He was so chill, he barely moved.  Not sure who his owners are-I was tempted to bring him home!  So cute.

4th of july party in sf: erica's roof

July 4, 2017

This photo is from one of three 4th of July parties I attended in 2016.  I am such a lucky girl to go to so many!  The day started off with games at Sarah's, then grilling in Sharon's backyard, and we finally ended up on Erica & Clayton's rooftop.  Look at their spectacular view and adorable set up.  Such a fun day!

flag cake

July 2, 2017

Last year 2 of my friends requested a "Flag Cake" for their 4th of July party.  I like to bake, so they gladly gave this assignment to me.  After a bit of research, I found this darling cake from Land O Lakes..  It looked a little intimidating.

Only 10 paintings have sold for over 100 million dollars.  The latest to join the club: Jean-Michel Basquiat's 1982 "Untitled" painting of a skull.  Basquiat is now in the same realm as Picasso, and his skull painting is now the priciest piece sold by a US artist.

Vanessa is one of my coolest friends.  She has a trendy, edgy, effortless style that only someone who was born in Italy, spent much of her childhood in Switzerland, lived in Paris, and now lives in LA could pull together.

Vanessa paired up with her good friend T'ien to start a design firm in Los Angeles.  They showcase a unique and welcoming style that is glamorous while still being effortless.
