This kitchen is part of a studio apartment. Normally, the same floor would continue into the kitchen, but these clever Parisian owners added graphic tile with a small pattern. The change in the floor helps differentiate the kitchen.

Also an important part of a comfortable kitchen: a place to sit. Your friend can sip wine while you cook, you can sit with your computer and your morning coffee, even have someone over for dinner. No giant dining table needed-just this open counter with 2 small stools.
