hostess gift idea: breakfast the next day

December 13, 2017

Anyone who has hosted a party knows how tired you are the next morning.  The last thing you want to do is cook.  You end up either eating leftovers or ordering pizza.

A great hostess gift is breakfast for the next morning!  Especially if your host has people in town.  How nice to have a wonderful breakfast ready to go!

Once I made a breakfast casserole for a friend who hosted New Years.  But you don't have to make something homemade.  Head to a nice market or restaurant and buy something pre-made.  My friend Sarah brought me some fancy frozen chocolate croissants to enjoy the morning after my birthday party.  More recently,  I gave this pre-made quiche to a friend who hosted us for Thanksgiving.  It was from Market Hall which is kind of a smaller, nicer Whole Foods type market.

If someone is hosting a party, a thoughtful gift is breakfast!
