I noticed this building while on a walk one morning. Don't you love the detail in the SF architecture? I like the soft pastel colors against the bright blue sky. We see a lot of these rounded windows in our alluring city. Thankful for beauty all around!

People in SF do weird things in our garages. My neighbor has a garage full of weights and uses it as a gym. Another sweet man down the street uses it as his artist studio. They both leave the garage doors open, and you can see what they're up to.
This photo above really made me smile, as you can imagine. I was on a walk in Inner Richmond in a residential area, and stumbled upon this wonderous sight. A garage door open, I hear some French music, then I see the ladies at work with peonies. Such a beautiful moment!
The florist is Flowers Claire Marie. I have not worked with them, but their website is gorgeous. Some photos below of their work. Thankful for this special memory which I took as a sign that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be in life right now.
Puglia, Italy. Home to 60 million live trees. Producer of 40% of Italy's olive oil. I know, this doesn't look like an olive tree. It looks more like an oak tree. That is because of it's age. This magnificent beauty is probably 1,000 years old. Some in the region are 2,000 years old. Think about that for a minute. That is during the time of the Bible!
Olive trees along the coast of the turquoise Adriatic Sea....it really was a dazzling place!

I have always noticed these owl eye windows when walking down Fillmore. I recently actually read the sign below--"Eye Research Institute!" and thought it was hilarious & fitting. Here's to appreciating unique and quirky details around and smiling to ourselves.

This is one of my favorite buildings in San Francisco. Isn't it beautiful? It reminds me of Paris. It is located on Franklin Street. Notice it next time you drive by on the left!

The Palace of Fine Arts was constructed for the 1915 World's Fair (Panama-Pacific Exposition), which showed the world that San Francisco had risen from the ashes of the 1906 earthquake and fire. Designed by California architect Bernard Maybeck, this beauty sits in its original location and is the last reminder of that great gathering that drew crowds of 18 million people. What a party!
