Everyone seems to be painting their walls white right now. Light walls and floor allow your other items to stand out. But....where do you start? Ever tried to choose a white paint color? It's overwhelming. Warm or cool? Creamy or crisp? You'll be shocked at how many colors of white you will see.
Every room is different.....so do not choose a color based on what you read in a magazine article. It will probably look different in your home. You must always try out the color in your space with your lighting. Look at the color at different times of the day and in different angles of the room. See how the color works (or doesn't work) with the trim. If you don't feel like taking on a "painting the trim" project, work with what you have, which may require a shift.
Where do you even start? This guide will help! Amber Interiors uses a lot of white paint. This article below shares some of her favorites. Again, these may not all work in your spaces, but at least gives you a starting point so that your white paint project isn't so overwhelming.
Which of these colors have you used? How did they turn out? What other whites do you like? I have used White Dove in 2 spaces. One looked bright white, the second looked more grey. I hear of people using Simply White and Decorator's White but have not used them myself.
