I love donuts. Who doesn't? We can't eat them all the time, but once in a while they are a special treat.
Have you heard of Voodoo Donut? A Portland donut store with tons of crazy flavors. Voodoo concocts more than 100 different types of donuts. I recently visited their store in Denver.
Located in the neighborhood of Capital Hill, Voodoo lives on Colfax Ave.
What did I order? I decided to stick with a classic glazed donut to get the real feel of their donuts. Turns out, they offer 2 types of glazed: yeast & cake. One of each please.
Then I asked the man for a suggestion for a first timer. He asked me a few questions about my likes & dislikes & chose a Chuckles donut for me, which he described as a "Snickers donut." Delicious! Tasted just like a Snickers bar.
Voodoo donut now has locations in Portland, Eugene, Denver, Austin, & Hollywood.
