Yes, I live in California, but no, this isn't what you think. This secret ingredient is safe for kids and won't make you high.
These are my world famous brownies that everyone always loves. They are so so easy!
What is the secret ingredient? Symphony Candy Bars!
You can find these at the grocery store in the candy aisle. Get the blue kind. It's basically a Hershey bar with toffee & almonds.
Which is my go to out of the box brownies? Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge.
Which baking instructions do you use? The one to make "fudgy" brownies (the one with less eggs).
What else do you need? Eggs, oil, water, & a brownie pan. Easy!
I saw this on TV years and years ago on Food Network with Paula Dean. When people ask me to bring dessert and I don't have a lot of time, this is what I bring.
Bonus points if you include Rosé wine and a board game or box of questions like the photo on top!
