1767 is a group of creative artists in Nashville who design handmade goods with history for modern spaces. I already thought their designs were cool. Then I learned they use wood from urban decay-even more cool! Urban decay is wood sourced from recently torn down homes in the Nashville area. This wood is special as it is a century old and comes with a history.
Now think big. Not only does this group create small pieces, they design large installations as well.
Look at this beautiful bar they designed for the new Nashville hot spot The Fox.
Or what about this backdrop to a clawfoot tub? This installation is part of a very cute hotel/bnb in Nashville called Urban Cowboy.
Why does this matter to you? Well, 2 reasons. First, it's fun to admire local artists. Second, what about this as a gift? They feel very fall, boho, urban, and masculine. Would someone appreciate something from 1767 for Xmas? They offer wall art and trays from $70-$250. They also offer custom pieces.
Look at this 7 foot installation with mirrors.
How does their art look in a home? It fits in perfectly with this global eclectic bohemian glamorous living room.
