During my first conversation with the florist, I explained that I wanted peonies as my wedding flowers. Soft colors with texture, like the bouquet above. I then learned that both peonies and aneomes were out of season in October....so I needed to go back to the drawing board. This ended up being a blessing as I love what we ended up with! (Lesson-check out garden roses if you love peonies).
Below is some peony inspiration if they're in season for you.
Peony season is of course Spring. April, May, and June.

How beautiful is this bouquet? I love the soft texture and soft pink color. I pinned this image on Pinterest so many times during wedding planning. Gorgeous!
Thanks to Camellia Floral Design for this creation to Melanie Duerkopp for the photograph.

I decided to bring flowers to my friend's house for a girls brunch. Since it was 6 girls, I decided to stick with a soft pink girly type look for the flowers. Of course I was sucked in by the glorious garden roses. We added the pink berries, hydrangea, rice flower, & some lemon leaves. Thanks to the Bud Stop for putting them together in these adorable jars.
