I've had shorter hair for 3 years now....and I think I'm ready for a change. I am missing a big ponytail.
I loved the lob-I wore it naturally wavy or curled it with a curling iron many days. Lately I end up with a bun or ponytail....and since my hair is short, the ponytail is just a nub.
Here is my hair right before I cut it in 2014. It was too long, and just not stylish.
At the time I was tired of everyone having the very long Kim Kardashian curls/extensions. I had noticed some fresh wavy lobs that looked very chic. I was inspired by this photo at my gym.
I headed to Mercer Salon with this photo and at the last minute chickened out. I asked her to go a bit longer just in case. Here is how it turned out (all my hair photos are with Amira!).
So, here's how I've been wearing it since. Usually wavy, once in a while straight.
I am now looking for a longer style that can make a big ponytail, a braid, a fabulous top knot, while still looking current when I wear it down. Some potential ideas:
What long hair styles are looking good right now? Since my hair is wavy, some layers don't work as I end up with a shelf in the back. Send any inspiration pics - ready for change in 2018!
